Mama Roe's Penne alla Vodka
Penne pasta with vodka sauce, made from vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh cream, prosciutto, onions and Italian seasonings.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium.
Drop vacuum-sealed vodka sauce into the pot.
Allow sauce to defrost and heat up completely, approximately 20 minutes.
While sauce is heating, bring another pot of water to a boil.
Cook penne pasta until al dente or desired tenderness.
Drain the pasta and put into a serving dish.
Cut open the bag of sauce and pour over pasta.
Optional: Add your favorite parmesan cheese and/or garnish with fresh basil.
Replace the pasta with any other pasta. Choose your favorite, but be mindful that it should be a pasta that can handle the sauce. For example, angel hair is not a good choice because the pasta is too light for the sauce.
You can defrost the sauce first so that it takes less time to reheat, but it is not necessary.
